Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary, Inc was founded on Aug 23, 2013 to assist feral cats and kittens in New Milford and the surrounding areas. On March 1st 2017, the feral cat community of Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary took the name Friends of Feral Homeless Cats and Kittens and relocated to West Virginia. On that same day, Wells Valley Cat Rescue (WVCR) was born. WVCR moved from the farm on Wells Rd. and became a foster-based rescue with all of the cats and kittens in our care residing in foster homes. WVCR continues to provide care to homeless cats and kittens throughout the state. WVCR is a 501(c)(3) rescue organization with all gifts and donations being tax deductible.
Wells Valley Cat Rescue is a foster-based, 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to finding furever homes for homeless cats and kittens. Homeless cats and kittens are often the "forgotten population" and we strive to help as many as we can. We provide all vaccinations needed, spaying/neutering and foster placement until a permanent home is found.
*PLEASE NOTE: we DO NOT take in feral or owner surrendered cats*
